The Newton-TRF Ph.D. Scholarship has been initiated and designed by the British Council and the Thailand Research Fund to enhance international collaboration skills for Thai researchers enabling a pool of researchers with international perspectives and experience to work and produce research (and other work) to promote Thailand’s social and economic development.
The additional support available from the Newton Fund to the TRF-RGJ programme will enable scholars to study for longer periods in UK higher education institutions, resulting in more opportunities to learn from the UK’s research excellence and create collaborative links.
