Germany Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

The TRF – DAAD Research Based Mobility Scheme is a bilateral research funding programme that was agreed upon by the DAAD and the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) in 2007.

DAAD receives the funding to run the programme from the budget of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). On the Thai side, the programme is funded by the Thailand Research Fund (TRF). It aims to intensify cooperation between Thai and German research groups who work together on a specific scientific project. The TRF – DAAD Research Based Mobility Scheme funds mobility in this respect. It also attaches particular importance to in-service training and specialization of young researchers, researchers, university teachers, postdoctoral students and doctoral students.
